DENBURY HOMES – ABOUT US
Part of the East Anglian landscape for almost 40 years, Denbury Homes was founded by James Hopkins, and was previously known as Hopkins & Moore.
Born and brought up in Suffolk, James’ vision for sympathetically designed new homes was shaped by his love of the region’s towns, villages, countryside, and coastline.
Passion for design still lies at the heart of Denbury Homes. We pride ourselves on building homes that blend with and complement the existing landscape. This commitment has led to a reputation for high quality homes that reflect the vernacular and enhance the communities they are a part of.
It’s not all about what’s visible though, our homes are constructed using methods and materials that deliver a finished product which marks itself out through what we call the Denbury Difference. This combined with our customer service earned us a five-star rating from the House Builders Federation in our first year of operating.
Joined in the business by his son Joshua, who is Land Director, James remains at the helm and is more determined than ever to create beautiful homes that owners can be proud of for years to come and that are part of the community for generations.
Denbury CHARITABLE FUND
Alongside building homes we work hard to support the communities our homes are a part of. The Denbury Charitable fund works closely with community foundations in Suffolk, Norfolk and Cambridgeshire to distribute funding to charities and groups working with some of the most vulnerable people in society. Since the fund was formalised in 2017, it has made donations and grants of well over £1 million.
More information about our charity work can be found here.
