Home Sales & AfterCare

Your Home For Life

BUYING A HOME WITH DENBURY HOMES IS THE START OF A LASTING RELATIONSHIP.

Buying a new home is an exciting time. But there’s no escaping the fact that there is a lot to think about. From mortgages and completion dates to choosing tiles and paint, the to do list can feel quite challenging.

That’s why our team is on hand from the moment you make your first enquiry to the day you pick up your keys. But we don’t stop there, we have worked hard to set up an after sales process that makes sure you always have easy access to someone who can help with any post move in matters or questions.

OUR PROMISE TO YOU

The Denbury Homes Customer Charter has been created with you in mind. Whether it’s help during the buying process or you have questions once you’ve moved in, our team will give you consistently high levels of prompt, courteous service.

Home Sale

From your first phone call or visit, our sales team will be on hand to help you through the process. They can talk to you about the development, the homes available now and in the future and the details of the specification.

Marketing suites at current developments are open Thursday to Monday from 10am to 5pm. We recommend booking an appointment so you don’t have to wait and our consultant can give you their undivided attention.

Once you have chosen a home, we proceed to a reservation appointment. This is an in-depth appointment where we go into all the practical and technical details about your new home. You’ll receive a comprehensive pack explaining the sales process during this appointment. We can also put you in touch with independent solicitors and mortgage advisors who have worked for our customers in the past and can help ensure a smooth purchase.

Shortly before completion, we’ll invite you to a familiarisation visit of your new Denbury Homes home. The site manager for your development and your sales consultant will demonstrate features such as your heating system and appliances, offer maintenance advice and answer any questions you might have.

On completion day there will be a handover meeting where we will provide you with all the printed documentation for your new home, including information about your Denbury Homes and NHBC Buildmark warranties, your appliance manuals and guarantees.

For more details about each stage in the Denbury Homes buying process visit our Buyer’s Guide.

Aftercare

Your new home is covered by a ten-year NHBC Buildmark Policy. The first two years of this warranty are provided by Denbury Homes.

We know you might have questions in the first few months, so for the first 30 days after your purchase, your builder warranty is managed and delivered by the site manager, with support from our customer care team at head office. This means you have someone close by who can pop round to give you another demonstration of how any of the homes’ systems or features work and to help with any other questions.

After the first 30 days, your builder warranty is transferred to our customer care team who will be your primary point of contact for any questions or concerns up until the second anniversary of your legal completion.

After this, your warranty is managed by NHBC for a further eight years.
