Donation for Gatehouse Foodbank from Denbury Homes Team

The head office team at Denbury Homes delivered several trolley loads of food to Gatehouse Foodbank in Bury St Edmunds.

For the second year running, staff at Denbury Homes gathered dried goods, tins and a range of seasonal and everyday items to support the work of the foodbank. The company added to the supplies, resulting in a total of over £750 worth of food being donated.

Gatehouse Foodbank supports people in Bury St Edmunds who are experiencing financial hardship by providing essential food parcels to help ensure those in need do not go hungry.

Amanda Bloomfield, CEO at Gatehouse said: “We are very grateful for the continued support from Denbury Homes. Community donations such as these help us to meet the growing need for food parcels, particularly during the winter months. The generosity shown will make a real difference to local households.”

Joshua Hopkins, Managing Director at Denbury Homes added: “We are proud to support Gatehouse again this year. The team surpassed themselves with their donations and it’s a timely reminder that in amongst the festive preparations we can all take a moment to think of others in our community who may be struggling and do what we can to help them have a Happy Christmas too.”
