Building success: Denbury Homes looks ahead to 2026

After its busiest year so far, Denbury Homes is looking forward to unveiling new developments as the company continues to attract attention across Suffolk, Norfolk, Cambridgeshire and Essex.

This year, Denbury Homes welcomed prospective buyers to St Edmunds Gate in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, for the launch of the 174-home first phase of its flagship development. The show home, a spacious four-bedroom detached home is available to view 7 days a week. With a mix of one and two-bedroom apartments and two, three and four-bedroom houses in detached, terraced, coach house and townhouse designs, the development offers something for every type of buyer.

In Essex, house hunters were invited to explore Monarch Rise in Layer de la Haye, a 70-home community offering two to five-bedroom homes and bungalows. With 24 properties available through affordable and shared ownership schemes, Monarch Rise provides an appealing balance of countryside charm and modern convenience.

Suffolk also saw the opening of Oak Grove in Eyke, where visitors can tour The Jay, a double-fronted four-bedroom show home. Located less than 10 minutes from Woodbridge, the development offers a range of homes from two-bedroom bungalows to five-bedroom family houses, set within a village of rural character and convenient local amenities.

Denbury Homes’ existing developments, including Farriers Walk in Cheveley, Cambridgeshire, Fallows Watch in Little Easton, Essex and Weavers Way in Clare, Suffolk, have continued to be popular with buyers across the region.

The year also saw the successful completion of five developments. With final sales being made at four developments in Suffolk: Witten’s Meadow in Witnesham; Barleyfields in Debenham; The Hornbeams in Elmsett; and Blacksmiths Way in Laxfield. And in Norfolk, The Kingfishers in Mattishall.

This year also saw, Denbury Homes launch its Key Worker Discount, enabling qualifying key workers across East Anglia to save on a brand-new home. Eligible buyers receive a £500 discount for every £25,000 spent on a Denbury Homes property. The discount is uncapped, offering benefits whether purchasers are buying their first home or their forever home (subject to terms and conditions).

Looking ahead to 2026, Denbury Homes will continue its growth into Essex and Norfolk, launching four new developments across East Anglia for house hunters to explore.

On 31 January 2026, Denbury Homes will unveil Trinity Rise in Ormesby St Margaret, the company’s first new development in Norfolk for several years. Offering a collection of two, three, four and five-bedroom homes, along with two three-bedroom bungalows, Trinity Rise is set within a village known for its history, picturesque landscapes, and easy access to the coast.

Launching in summer 2026 are two further developments: Hemingway Rise at Brightwell Lakes in Suffolk and Swans Brook in Abberton, Essex. Both offer a range of two to four-bedroom homes that combine countryside charm with convenient access to nearby towns. Brightwell Lakes is part of a planned new community focused on green space, wellbeing and sustainable living.

Later in the year, St Mary’s Place in Mendlesham will introduce a collection of two, three and four-bedroom homes to this historic village in the heart of Suffolk. Designed with generous green spaces, the development will offer buyers the chance to become part of the area’s established village community.
